Last weekend I was on the ÖSFA the Austrian Trade Show for wintersports and got some time seeing old friends and some of my sponsors.
My healing progress is great too. I really feel a difference every day. Right now it looks like I’ll be able to ski in 2 weeks again- means easy skiing and I’m happy about it!!!

Yesterday I had a controll at the hospital here in Innsbruck and the X-Ray showed what I already felt: Everything looks good! The bone is growing together the way it should. So I’m happy about this good news again 
News on the Skiercross circuit: the race in teh Sierra Nevada was held today instead of tomorrow. Results very unexpected

I had my first day without crutches today. I’m not yet running but it won’t take long until I can do that Hope to be able to ski in 2-3 weeks again. I’ll do another X-ray examination in 10 days and I’ll see what the doctors say…I’ll keep on training so long! In the meantime the Skiercross circuit has been moving on. Last week end there was the Jeep King of the mountain in Squaw Valley. You can view the results here from Deer Valley (World Cup) and Squaw Valley (Jeep King of the Mountain)
I had the first “test-day” at the gym today trying out how much I can do and I was really surprised! I could do more than I thought without pain so it looks like the gym and me will be best friends in the next days/ weeks!
Back home in Innsbruck it feels like I’m healing much faster I was in the hospital here in Innsbruck today to check my shoulder one more time in a special examination and everything is OK! The fracture in my pelvis was checked too and is very stable and gets better everyday. I’m allowed to do everything depending on how much pain I can handle but it will take 4-6 weeks for the fracture to heal. So patience Karin!!!
