Today the training and qualification for the first race of the season took place in Sölden. The first race of the year is always a challange- no one is used to jumps and rollers in a real course yet and for me it was a very special mental challange after my injury last year. After pushing myself really hard in the first trainingruns I felt ready to do the qualification. I ended up 2nd which was a great surprise for me and I think for everyone else too!Unluckily a gatekeeper thought that I struggled a gate which I didn’t. As nobody filmed my run in this part we don’t have any evidence to proove that I’m right. So I still don’t know if they will allow me to race tomorrow…However I am soo happy about this day and I know that I’m able to compete with the best again ☺ … maybe already tomorrow!
