Powder!
November 28, 2007Final of the Crossmax
November 24, 2007Unfortunately I was not allowed to compete in the Crossmax final yesterday as I was really disqualified in the end (which was unfair in my opinion). Anyway I could not do anything about it as nobody filmed this part and I was not able to proof that I’m right. The first race of the season (and X-Games Qualifier!) was a sucess despite of delays in the morning because of the strong wind (peaks of 90km/h) and flat light. The wonems competition was won by Ophe David- what a surprise
2.Katharina Gutenson (AUT), 3. Sasha Faric (SLO). Enak Gavaggio won the men’s race 2.Lars Lewen, 3.the young austrian Patrick Koller who also qualified to the X-Games.
Saab-Crossmax Race in Sölden
November 22, 2007Today the training and qualification for the first race of the season took place in Sölden. The first race of the year is always a challange- no one is used to jumps and rollers in a real course yet and for me it was a very special mental challange after my injury last year. After pushing myself really hard in the first trainingruns I felt ready to do the qualification. I ended up 2nd which was a great surprise for me and I think for everyone else too!Unluckily a gatekeeper thought that I struggled a gate which I didn’t. As nobody filmed my run in this part we don’t have any evidence to proove that I’m right. So I still don’t know if they will allow me to race tomorrow…However I am soo happy about this day and I know that I’m able to compete with the best again ☺ … maybe already tomorrow!
Getting ready for the season
November 22, 2007Last days I’ve spent in Sölden with the Salomon Team for some Ski tests before the upcoming season. Here some images about how that looked like.

My mission…
November 17, 2007After a bad crash last december I lost the entire season. I was not able to defend my titles from the years before, such as the x-games goldmedal and the skier-x FIS world championship title. This has been a thorn in my side ever since and this fact has kept me inspired during those long hours of rehab.
After two major surgeries in my back and all those hours in the gym I look at this comming season as the great revenge.
My mission is to go fast and win those medals back…
