After the Ski World Cup has had it’s kick off last weekend our Ski Cross team uses the great condition here for some training. After a fall with not so much snow on the glaciers skiing is great now. I have the feeling we have our first really goog trainingdays this season and that is what we really need to be well prepared for a hard season. Great snow & sunshine that’s how we like it
Skiing in Sölden
October 28, 2009Tag des Sports 2009
September 26, 2009Today there is “Tag des Sports” =”Day of Sports” in Vienna. I’m on my way to the airport right now to spend my day in Vienna as many other athletes, kids and families.
Training in Mölltal
September 26, 2009Last week we had a great trainingcamp in Mölltal/ Austria. The conditions were really tough because of the lack of snow. We could really see the snow melting every day.
The plan is to go there for another 3 days next week. Hope they can make some artificial snow there in the meantime

Hot summer
August 25, 2009After spending 3 weeks in Sweden with family and friends I’m back in Innsbruck again where we are enjoying some hot, hot summerdays!
Training is running well and I’m still gaining muskles. Skiing will start soon and hopefully there is not only ice left on the glaciers. What I’ve heard from other athletes it is petty good.
I got my new Salomon skis yesterday and they look terrible fast
I’m really looking forward to test them soon.
So long!
Summer training
July 3, 2009The summer training has really started now and I spend many hours on my beloved mountainbike and in the gym. Muscles get sore and I’m getting stronger
I’m fortunate to train with one of the best fitness coaches, Roland Brunner who is always keeping me motivated and pushes me to do my best. So I’ll keep on working. Next winter will be coming soon.
Coming up next: FIS Meeting Dubrovnik
May 21, 2009After spending a couple of days having meetings with my sponsor POC in Stockholm I’m on my way to Dubrovnik for the first FIS meeting of the athletes reps tomorrow. I was elected to one of the athletes representatives of Freestyle this winter and now our work has started and we’ll meet with the FIS for the first time. There are about 10 athlete reps from the different disciplines and different countries (Alpine, Ski Jumping, Cross Country, Freestyle,…)I hope the discussions will be good and successfull. The discussion between athletes has already started on www.democraski.com a plattform created by Ryan Blais (the male rep for Freestyle). Thanks Ryan! Great job!
I’ll keep you updated about what’s going on in Dubrovnik!
End of season
April 24, 2009Finally the season is over now and snow is melting from the mountains. My end of season was abrupt with my crash at the World Cup final in La Plagnes where i tore my ACL. So the very successfull season ended with an unlucky knee injury. In the overall i therefore lost my 2nd position and ended on the 4th place.
I’ve had surgery in the meantime in Hochrum where Dr.Hoser took care of me at once. Right now I’m doing my rehab working to come back for the next season. Looking at my goal: going to the Olympics 2010 still seems realistic and I’ll do everything for it.
Thanks to everyone who is supporting me on the way to 2010!
WC in Meiringen
March 16, 2009On saturday the WC in Meiringen- Hasliberg, Switzerland took place. In contrast to the race in Grindelwald the weather was super sunny and it was soo warm on the start that we could have raced with only t-shirts and surfshorts
As happy as I was about the weater that day as dissappointed I was about my result. I ended on 9th position and now I’m really hungry for revenge!
Next and last chance for that will be in La Plange, France on friday!
Grindelwald
March 12, 2009We were supposed to have the race in Grindelwald today but the weather had caused some problems in the last days. The qualification could not be held yesterday so everything had to be done today. Unfortunatly the visibility was very bad and the conditions on the course were very difficult. Only the women´s qualification could be finished while the men´s qualification had to be cancelled after 50 riders.
The qualification results for the women are taken as the race results which feels a litttle bit boring as the race never took place. I ended on 7th position. Results here ->
