Raceday St.Johann

January 5, 2010

The race will start at 17.15h today in Oberndorf (Penzingbahn).
After the qualifikation yesterday I was not so happy. I made too many mistakes on this difficult course.
So a great challange will wait for me today with not the best start gate.
Starting fast is the only solution and will be my mission today!!!

Ski Test & Powder Skiing

December 1, 2009

Last weeks have been busy. It feels like the season has already started but we are still waiting for the World Cup season to start in Innichen/ San Candido (ITA) on the 21.of december.

Last week I could spend with my beloved Salomon Team (int.) in Sölden to test our new skis. We had great conditions and very good and interesting results.

This week I’m in Sölden again with the Austrian National Team for a trainingcamp but we seem to be unlucky with the weather or myabe I should say really lucky because it is snowing a lot :) It is the snow everyone is waiting for! Anyway most of the lifts were closed today but we could do some nice powder runs. I tried my NEW Czar which was really great.
Due to the snow we are moving to Schladming tomorrow and hope to be able to train some jumps there.

Skiing in Sölden

October 28, 2009

After the Ski World Cup has had it’s kick off last weekend our Ski Cross team uses the great condition here for some training. After a fall with not so much snow on the glaciers skiing is great now. I have the feeling we have our first really goog trainingdays this season and that is what we really need to be well prepared for a hard season. Great snow & sunshine that’s how we like it :)

Tag des Sports 2009

September 26, 2009

Today there is “Tag des Sports” =”Day of Sports” in Vienna. I’m on my way to the airport right now to spend my day in Vienna as many other athletes, kids and families.

Check out what’s going on there!

Training in Mölltal

September 26, 2009

Last week we had a great trainingcamp in Mölltal/ Austria. The conditions were really tough because of the lack of snow. We could really see the snow melting every day.
The plan is to go there for another 3 days next week. Hope they can make some artificial snow there in the meantime :)
